Village London has always been about how things work together. Practicality and function matter just as much as how something looks. Over time, our collections - which began with fabric - have naturally extended into the rest of daily life. We’re pleased to share a carefully selected range of homewares that we live with, reach for and use every day: tea towels woven in Sweden on looms over a hundred years old; bath oil we’ve used for more than twenty years; secateurs made in Japan that can be found in every coat pocket; and candles from Paris that have been burnt in our home since childhood. These are not decorative additions. They’re everyday things - chosen because they’re well made, because they last and because they’re genuinely designed to be used every day. New in…our linen napkins, woven in Dalarna, Sweden, by a historic mill founded in 1947 and still produced on shuttle looms more than 100 years old. A slower way of making that honours true craftsmanship. Layered with our classic red-stripe linen tablecloth, made for everyday gatherings. Swedes don’t traditionally celebrate Shrove Tuesday with pancakes - instead it’s Fettisdagen (Fat Tuesday!!) and the table is set for semlor: cardamom-spiced buns with almond paste and whipped cream.
