Olverum Pillow Mist

I remember where I was when I was first introduced to Olverum. I was in my early twenties (I’m now 43) on a weekend with school friends by the beach. We were staying in a friend’s grandmothers house, that was frozen in time – like stepping back into the 1940s/50’s. I had a bath and picked up a nondescript bottle (they’ve since had a rebrand), and it stopped me in my tracks.

Olverum is a quietly cult bathing ritual, created in Germany in the 1930s and unchanged ever since. Its concentrated blend of pure essential oils – eucalyptus, rosemary, lavender and citrus – disperses into hot water to soothe muscles, clear the head and gently reset the nervous system.

Nothing beats the Olverum bath oil, but a close second is the pillow mist that I’ve been using every night since they bought it out.
