Tunis is inspired by an Algerian silk embroidered Tanchif, a ceremonial embroidery worn to cover head and shoulders. Traditional designs, like the one that inspired Tunis reference motifs on silks and velvets that appear in both Renaissance Italy and Ottoman Turkey. Finished with a thick red fringing and plain linen back. Our cushion covers are handmade in England.
